S. AL SAYED PALACE
Return to the locality is the title and idea of this palace design, it was inspired by the depth of traditional Najran architecture, which is characterized by the divinity, agility and beauty on the foothills of the mountains and the sides of the Najran valleys. The traditional Najran Architecture is mainly rooted from the social composition of families, these mud houses are mainly interspersed with farms and oases, famous for its mud buildings “Dorob” with its unique identity and nature, which reaches a height of up to seven floors. This urban fabric has made the traditional Najran building an unprecedented symbolism and has given it aesthetic dimensions and balanced proportions in form and essence. It is an attractive, environment friendly and affordable building that always seeks visual tension and diversity in mass and formation.
The project consists of two main parts, hospitality section and family section, the general site of the guest suite is designed as a welcoming block of the first elites. With a spacious, guest-friendly courtyard, authentic Arabian hospitality and VIP parking, it consists of a majestic entrance with a wide corridor extending from the beginning of the fence to the parking area next to the main entrance of the hospitality building.
