12- Prof. Alnaim established the National Built Heritage Center at the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) along with His Royal Highness, the President of SCTH, in which he served as its general supervisor during the period from 2011 to 2018. Alnaim planned to have this institution as an international model inbuilt heritage at both scientific and professional level. Alnaim also created a strategy for the priorities of built heritage development and launched Omran the coordination program with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, which aims to raise those capacities of municipalities at the regional built heritage management. Prof. Alnaim worked through the Heritage Center to develop the historical Mosques program. Alnaim worked on many rehabilitation and development projects for many built heritage sites in the Kingdom. Also, it contributed to the articulation of the law of monuments and museums and urban heritage, where the establishment of the National Built Heritage Center has dramatically enhanced, adding a chapter about built heritage to the law. Prof. Alnaim participated in several key committees focusing on heritage within the Kingdom (Prince Sultan's Chair, Prince Sultan Heritage Award, Higher Committee for Historical Jeddah, Council of the College of Tourism, and Archeology at King Saud University and other committees). He represented the Kingdom as Chairman of the Saudi National ICOMOS Committee, ICCROM, UNESCO World Heritage Committee, and other committees). Worked with the World Bank on several studies concerned with the heritage economics and urban heritage development in the Kingdom and chaired the organizing and practical committee of the National Built Heritage Forum for five consecutive sessions and worked on revision and publishing the book of the scientific forum (research and heritage).

13- During the past two decades, Prof. Alnaim worked as a consultant and practitioner for many major architectural and planning projects in the Kingdom and examined/consulted several important projects both inside and outside the Kingdom (such as the Great Mosque of Algiers, the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdul Wahab Foundation and Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University. Also, Alnaim was at the Advisory Committee, which prepared the master plan for the Eastern Region and the work in the legal and administrative committee that oversaw the building codes of Saudi Arabia—managed several major construction projects, including Prince Mohammed bin Fahd University (Al-Aziziya-Khobar) campus.
14- In addition to designing many architectural, urban, and planning projects—Al-Naim participated as a member of the arbitration committees of various architectural awards such as the Arab Towns Organization Award, the Sultan Qaboos Award for Architecture, the King Abdullah Award for Creativity, the Sustainable Architecture Award for American University students, and the "Architecture+" Award for Impacts of Architecture Students. Also, Alnaim participated with the Aga Khan Prize in reviewing projects in Pakistan, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia, as well as participated with the Aga Khan Foundation for Culture and a specialized team in the Islamic world in studying the reality of architectural education in the Islamic world and 15- participated in many studies with institutes and specialized centers in the world in the field of urban studies, including the Middle East Institute in Washington and the Institute of Stemson in the United States and (Habitat) of the United Nations in addition to many Arab centers. During the last decade, he regularly participated in the Arab Studies Forum in Britain and has presented more than seven studies in the history of architecture. Finally, the regional representative of the Sustainable Architecture of the Gulf, founded by the Harvard Group of Architecture and supported by the Qatar Foundation for Education (represented in Doha Land).

16-Prof. Alnaim is a specialized writer in the field of architecture and urbanism. During the last two decades, he published hundreds of researches, studies, and articles in the fields of architecture in Arabic and English and translated some articles into other languages. Have a weekly column writer since 1997 in Riyadh newspaper. More than a hundred critical articles on architecture were published in the newspaper and written many articles for Al-Yawm, Al-Hayat, Al-Majalla Magazine, Training and Technology Magazine, Al- Qafila Magazine, Darin Magazine, and many other publications inside and outside the Kingdom.

17-Al-Naim's research focuses on architectural issues and other historical planning (the study of architecture in Islamic civilization) as a direct approach and source of knowledge but extends to contemporary architecture in the Arab world during the past two decades. As well as several studies in the field of education and practice of architecture and other studies in the culture of housing in general and housing Saudi (traditional and contemporary) published several books in Arabic and English, including "Potentialities of Traditional Housing: Case of Hofuf, Saudi Arabia (1998)" (in English), "Architecture and Culture" (2005), "Political Influences and Paradigm Shift in the Contemporary Arab Town" (2006), "Ideas in Professional Culture," and finally the book "Sifr AlOmran" (2010), "Ahadeeth Al-Hamra" in Arabic and "Al-Freej" in English.
